Our town is steeped in history and culture. Throughout the year, we host many exciting events that are open to the general public. Our town is filled with friendly people and a local government that welcome you to visit anytime. This is my hometown and I am honored and proud to be your neighbor, and your Mayor.

Hobson City celebrated its 118th anniversary on August 19, 2017. The day kicked off with the Annual 5K Heritage Walk Run. Residents and former residents joined together with others to raise funds for the community library, seniors, arts and cultural programming.

Hobson City summer feeding program was a success. Thank you to all the volunteers that came out to help feed the youth and engage in fun enrichment activities. Parents please continue to encourage your kids to read daily as it will help them improve academically.
